Original work only

Every guide is researched and written from scratch. We don't copy or lightly rewrite other websites' articles. If we quote, we keep it short and credit the source.

Evidence hierarchy

When sources disagree, we give more weight to:

  1. Official fact sheets and guidelines (for example, NIH Office of Dietary Supplements)
  2. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
  3. Randomized controlled trials in humans
  4. Observational studies
  5. Animal and lab studies, which we label clearly as early evidence

Plain language, honest limits

We say "the evidence is weak" when it is. We don't promise cures, and we flag interactions with common medications.

Corrections and updates

Each article shows the date it was last updated. We re-check guides when major new research or official guidance is published. Corrections are made promptly and noted at the end of the article.

Independence

Commercial partners have no say in what we write or recommend. Affiliate links never change our conclusions.
